My life revolves around these projects. These are the things I want to accomplish. They are large, complex and sometimes soul-crushing. By doing this, showing my progress to the world, I’m holding myself accountable – both to anyone that stops by and lets me know their thoughts, and to time itself.
The Hunters is a game concept I’ve had for many years. It started its life as a forum roleplay which then evolved into a game. Now I want to bring this vision to life and, hopefully, bring it to those who are willing to play it.
As I progress, I’ll be writing posts about how I am doing, what I am doing and what tools/resources I’m using. I’ll update the game’s information page, introduce the characters, storyline and reveal all sorts of special goodies. More details can be found on the Hunters Project page.
There are also three other game concepts I have: Exception (a single-player campaign which the player can then go into an MMO with the same world), KING (sci-fi Final Fantasy-esque JRPG) and Hime-less (an Otome sim). More details on these projects can be found on the Game Dev page.
Hunters isn’t the only concept I have in my head. There are 11 others that need to be fleshed out. To that end, I’m using the Snowflake Method to add depth and evolve the simple layouts I have in my head into something that can released as a novel, manga or game.
Current Work In Progress:
Bonds of Blood Storyline
More details are on the Writing page.
There is much I don’t know and I’ll need to know to complete these projects. Today’s game development scene is so fast-paced with changes to technology, what players want out of a game, amongst a plethora of other things. The technical know-how I learned at university many years ago, is no longer relevant. So I need to refresh and learn more. Updates will come via blog posts.
Coursera Courses I’m Doing:

I love games, especially JRPGs (Japanese Roleplaying Games). My favourite series is Persona. Because of the rarity of these games in Australia and my love of the genre, I started my hunt to collecting what I could. It’s been 13 years since I began. Let’s just say my collection is quite extensive now.
I’ll endeavour to play them all, eventually. In the meantime, I keep track of my collection and my progress through the games I’m playing via Backloggery.
